At A Giant’s Early Learning Center, we dedicated this week to honoring the people who matter most to our little learners — their families. Throughout Families Around Us Week, children explored family stories, traditions, and the many ways love shapes a home.
Exploring Family Stories
Children learned about diverse families through books, drawings, and simple family-tree activities. They loved sharing who’s at home with them and what makes their family special.
This week’s highlight: Children proudly presented their family drawings during circle time, sparking warm classroom conversations.
Family Projects & Sharing
Students brought in photos and small keepsakes that helped them talk about favorite traditions and the people they care about most.

Family Gallery Walk
We hosted a Family Gallery Walk where families shared photos and cultural items. Children enjoyed walking through the displays and discovering how every family has its own story.
