At A Giant’s Early Learning Center (AGELC), we believe learning isn’t just about letters and numbers—it’s also about helping children understand themselves. That’s why Week 2 of our curriculum is all about Feelings & Emotions.

Why It Matters

Children experience big feelings every day, but may not always know how to express them effectively. Teaching emotional skills early builds confidence, empathy, and resilience—skills that support learning and healthy relationships.

What We Do at AGELC:

🎭 Storytelling & Puppets at AGELC:

Using puppets and books, children learn to name and talk about emotions.

🌈 Emotion Charts & Calming Activities

Classrooms display charts and practice strategies like deep breathing to help children regulate feelings.

🎉 The Feelings Parade

Children dress up as emotions like happy, silly, or brave to celebrate that all feelings are importan

🏠 Family Tools

Parents receive simple ways to continue emotional learning at home.

By week’s end, children learn new ways to manage emotions—growing as confident learners and caring friends. At AGELC, we nurture both academic and emotional growth.
