Stay Healthy & Happy This Cold & Flu Season!🌟
As parents, we can teach our kids simple ways to stay safe and healthy during cold and flu season. Here’s how to make staying healthy fun and easy for your little ones! 💙
🖐️ Wash Those Hands Like a Superhero! 🖐️

- Teach them to wash for 20 seconds – sing the ABCs or their favorite song! 🎶
- Remind them to wash before eating, after playing, coughing, or sneezing.
🤧 Catch That Sneeze Like a Pro! 🤧

- Teach them to use a tissue or cough into their elbow (no hands!).
- Remind them to throw tissues away and wash up afterward.
🧼 Make Clean Hands a Habit 🧼

- Scrub for 20 seconds with soap and water.
- Use hand sanitizer when soap isn’t available.
🥦 Eat Well, Drink Up, & Stay Strong!💧

- Drink water throughout the day.
- Eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins.
🧴Clean High-Touch Items Together 🚜

- Wipe down toys, door handles, and devices with your child.
- Teach them that germs can hide on surfaces and cleaning keeps everyone safe.
🤗Teach Them to Skip Hugs & High-Fives (For Now) 🤗

If friends are sick, teach your child to give a friendly wave instead of hugs.
- “Let’s use a germ-free greeting!”
- Encourage virtual greetings with family when someone isn’t feeling well.
📢 Lead by Example👩🦰👨

Kids learn best by watching YOU!
- Model good habits like handwashing, covering coughs, and staying home when sick.
- Reassure them that it’s normal to get sick sometimes – what matters is taking care of ourselves.
