At A Giant’s Early Learning Center, we believe math isn’t just numbers—it’s a world of discovery! During Shapes & Patterns Week, our little giants explored, created, and celebrated as they learned how shapes and patterns make up the world around them.

Children built towers with blocks, solved puzzles, stamped fun designs, and even moved their bodies to “shape games.”
Why it matters: Play-based learning makes abstract math concepts easy to understand, while also building problem-solving and teamwork skills.

From pattern art masterpieces to sensory bins full of surprises, our students went on adventures to spot and explore shapes everywhere.
What we teach: Shapes and patterns are part of everyday life—helping children strengthen observation, creativity, and early math readiness.
🎉 Shape Party Celebration
The highlight of the week was our Shape Party! With themed snacks, silly games, and lots of laughter, children celebrated their learning in the most joyful way.
Why we do it: Making learning feel like a party builds confidence, joy, and excitement for the next adventure!
💡 Everyday Learning for Families
We encouraged families to keep the fun going at home—spotting circles in cookies, stripes on shirts, or patterns in the tiles on the floor.
At-home tip: Ask your child, “Can you find three triangles in this room?” It’s a simple way to spark curiosity anywhere!
